Central Admission Processing System(CAPS) 

As jamb newly introduced system becomes live most student tried checking their admission status on caps. On caps(Central Admission Processing System) you can do a whole lot after login, for example you can check your admission status, Accept or Reject Admission and many more. But right now we are not talking about Caps in General or How to accept or Reject admission on caps, but if you need on that follow the recommended link below.

Back to the question 'How can I access the newly Introduced Jamb's system,' Caps'. The answer is very simple, you don't need to register again for Caps provided you can recall your Jamb profile details(which of course you should). All you have to do is to login with your Jamb profile details.

Accessing Jamb Caps System


Enter your username & password (This is your Jamb profile Username and password) 

Then click on login. That all

But if you still can't access the system that way, no need to cause alarm simply follow the steps underlisted below..... 

We found out that most student who use their mobile phones to access CAPS tend to have defficulty getting their way round the Caps dashboard but this method will help clarify that. 

Log on to jamb website at http://www.jamb.org.ng

Visit the login or create a profile section of the website. 

Clear description on the diagram below:

You will be directed to a page were you are expected to fill in your Email and password for Jamb. Do as instructed. 

When logged in tap the right edge of the page with a menu symbol, part of the menu listed Caps as described in the picture below was indicated


Click on the 'Caps' you will be directed to a welcome page, now a lot of student gets confused but don't worry there is a way out all thanks to MyschoolinfoNigeria. 

"Mind you: you won't have this problem when using a Destop/laptop" 

Please make sure you are using a suitable browser like Chrome/firefox/puffin or something similar. 

When you get to the Welcome page simply request desktop mode using your browser. 



When you are done with that you will then see a page like this... 



Click on the admission status as indicated by the arrow in the picture above, then you will be able to access the general detail of your caps profile.

Note: If the page don't load, do not panic it could be due to the fact that a lot of student are trying to visit the page, just wait.

  1. i checked my admission status on caps it displayed admitted which i accepted, the next day when i rechecked it is telling me not admitted

    1. Have your school of choice released its admission list yet?

      If not keep checking its a new system, errors are expected

  2. I also experienced the same thing, wen I first checked my admission status, I saw recommended the next day it changed to not admitted, hope der won't b problem?
